Ingredients

- 1 can (5 oz) tuna, drained
- 2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon chopped celery
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 slices of bread
- Optional: lettuce, tomato slices
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the drained tuna, chopped hard-boiled eggs, mayonnaise, chopped celery, and Dijon mustard.
- Mix well until all ingredients are incorporated.
- Season with salt and pepper to your preference.
- Toast the bread slices if desired.
- Spread the tuna egg mixture evenly onto two slices of bread.
- Top with lettuce and tomato slices if using.
- Place the remaining two slices of bread on top to complete the sandwiches.
Notes
- For a lighter version, use Greek yogurt instead of some of the mayonnaise.
- Add chopped pickles or relish for extra crunch and flavor.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate for later.
