Description

A simple and delicious sandwich combining tuna and hard-boiled eggs, perfect for a quick meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 can (5 oz) tuna, drained
  • 2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon chopped celery
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 slices of bread
  • Optional: lettuce, tomato slices

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the drained tuna, chopped hard-boiled eggs, mayonnaise, chopped celery, and Dijon mustard.
  2. Mix well until all ingredients are incorporated.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to your preference.
  4. Toast the bread slices if desired.
  5. Spread the tuna egg mixture evenly onto two slices of bread.
  6. Top with lettuce and tomato slices if using.
  7. Place the remaining two slices of bread on top to complete the sandwiches.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, use Greek yogurt instead of some of the mayonnaise.
