Instructions
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, chopped nuts, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Cover the dough and chill for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Roll the chilled dough into 1-inch balls and place them on ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Once cooled, roll the cookies generously in powdered sugar until well coated.
