A rich and decadent Oreo cheesecake recipe that is easy to make and perfect for any occasion. This recipe combines the classic flavors of Oreo cookies with a creamy cheesecake filling.


Ingredients

  • 24 Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup heavy cream, whipped
  • 12 Oreo cookies, roughly chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine crushed Oreo cookies and melted butter. Press mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  3. Bake crust for 10 minutes. Let cool.
  4. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  5. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
  6. Fold in sour cream and whipped cream.
  7. Stir in chopped Oreo cookies.
  8. Pour filling over the cooled crust.
  9. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until cheesecake is set but still slightly jiggly in the center.
  10. Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool in the oven with the door ajar for 1 hour.
  11. Remove from oven and let cool completely on a wire rack.
  12. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

  • For a no-bake version, omit baking the crust and chilling the cheesecake for at least 6 hours or overnight.
  • Garnish with extra whipped cream and chopped Oreos if desired.
  • Add a chocolate drizzle for an extra decadent touch.
