- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a bundt pan.
- In a small bowl, combine granulated sugar and cinnamon.
- Dip each biscuit piece into the melted butter, then roll in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- Arrange the coated biscuit pieces in the prepared bundt pan.
- Sprinkle the brown sugar and pecans (if using) over the biscuit pieces.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before inverting onto a serving plate.
- While the monkey bread is cooling, whisk together powdered sugar and milk to create a glaze.
- Drizzle the glaze over the warm monkey bread.

- For a cream cheese version, add dollops of cream cheese between biscuit pieces before baking.
