- 1 cup water (for syrup)
- 2 tablespoons dried lavender buds (food grade)
- 1 1/2 cups fresh lemon juice (about 6–8 lemons)
- 4 cups cold water (for lemonade)

- Fresh lavender sprigs for garnish
Instructions
- Combine granulated sugar and 1 cup water in a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
- Remove from heat and add the dried lavender buds. Let steep for 30 minutes to 1 hour, or until the desired lavender flavor is achieved.
- Strain the lavender syrup through a fine-mesh sieve into a clean jar, pressing on the solids to extract all liquid. Discard the lavender buds.
- In a large pitcher, combine the strained lavender syrup, fresh lemon juice, and 4 cups cold water.
- Stir well to combine.
- Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness as desired by adding more sugar or lemon juice.
- Chill the lavender lemonade in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
- Serve over ice, garnished with lemon slices and fresh lavender sprigs.
