Simply 5-Minute Grilled Mackerel

Ingredients

  • 2 mackerel fillets
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Zest half of the lemon and set aside. Juice the entire lemon.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, chopped dill, salt, and pepper.
  4. Place the mackerel fillets on a clean surface.
  5. Brush the lemon-dill mixture generously over both sides of the mackerel fillets.
  6. Place the mackerel fillets on the preheated grill.
  7. Grill for 4-5 minutes per side, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  8. Serve immediately.
