Ingredients
4 small round sourdough bread loaves
8 oz spaghetti
1 tbsp olive oil
1 cup marinara sauce
1 cup cooked ground chicken
2 cloves garlic, minced
4 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped reserved bread crumbs (optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C)
Slice top and hollow out sourdough loaves to create 4 bowls
Boil spaghetti to al dente, drain
Heat olive oil in skillet, sauté garlic 1-2 minutes
Cook ground chicken until browned, add oregano, salt, and pepper
Stir in marinara sauce, simmer 3-4 minutes until glossy
Toss cooked spaghetti with sauce and half the mozzarella
Brush bread bowls with butter-parmesan mixture (optional bread crumbs)
Bake bowls for 8 minutes until golden and crispy
Notes
For extra crispiness, broil 2-3 minutes after baking
Use parmesan rinds while simmering sauce for depth
Top with fresh basil or a drizzle of olive oil
