Description
This is a simple no-knead bread recipe perfect for beginners. You can make delicious, crusty homemade bread with minimal effort.

			- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon active dry yeast
- 1 1/4 teaspoons salt
- 1 1/2 cups lukewarm water
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, yeast, and salt.
- Add lukewarm water and mix until just combined. The dough will be shaggy and sticky.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it rest at room temperature for at least 12 hours, or up to 24 hours.
- When ready to bake, generously flour a clean surface. Scrape the dough onto the floured surface.
- Gently shape the dough into a ball. Do not overwork it.
- Place the dough on a piece of parchment paper. Cover with a clean towel and let it rest for 30 minutes.
- While the dough rests, preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) with a Dutch oven (with lid) inside for at least 30 minutes.
- Carefully remove the hot Dutch oven from the oven. Remove the lid.
- Using the parchment paper, carefully lower the dough into the hot Dutch oven.
- Cover the Dutch oven with the lid and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the lid and bake for another 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 200-210°F (93-99°C).
- Carefully remove the bread from the Dutch oven and let it cool completely on a wire rack before slicing.
Notes
- The longer the dough ferments, the more flavor it will develop.
- If you don’t have a Dutch oven, you can bake the bread on a baking sheet, but the crust may not be as crispy.
- Adjust water slightly if your flour is very dry or humid.
