Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas.
- Stir in the melted butter, baking soda, salt, sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Gently stir in the flour until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Fold in the chopped nuts.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 50-65 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
