- 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season chicken with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear chicken on both sides until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer, stirring constantly.
- Stir in grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Cook until cheese is melted and sauce has thickened slightly.
- Season sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
- Return chicken to the skillet and coat with the sauce.
- Simmer for 2-3 minutes, allowing the chicken to heat through and absorb the flavors.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

- For a low-carb option, serve with zucchini noodles or cauliflower rice.
- Chicken thighs will result in a more tender and moist dish.
