Description

Tender chicken strips coated in a garlicky yogurt sauce, melted cheese, and fresh toppings in soft tortillas. A customizable, family-friendly wrap perfect for meals on the go!


Ingredients

2 large chicken breasts, thinly sliced
4 large flour tortillas
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup Greek yogurt or sour cream
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon dried oregano
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 cup fresh spinach leaves (optional)
1 small red onion, thinly sliced


Instructions

Warm 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant and golden.
Add the chicken slices to the skillet. Season with smoked paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Cook 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until chicken is cooked through.
While the chicken cooks, warm tortillas on a dry pan for 20 seconds each side until pliable.
Lower heat. Stir in Greek yogurt or sour cream into the chicken mixture until a creamy sauce forms. Remove skillet from heat.
On each tortilla, layer spinach and red onion. Spoon chicken mixture over veggies.
Sprinkle equal amounts of mozzarella and cheddar on top. Fold bottom up and roll tightly.
Place wraps seam-side down in the skillet over medium-low heat. Cook 1-2 minutes per side until cheese melts and tortillas are golden.

Notes

Swap red onion with sautéed leeks for a sweeter flavor
Use goat cheese or provolone for different cheese notes
Substitute flour tortillas with whole wheat or lettuce wraps
Store leftover wraps in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days
